I'm about 2/3rds finished on the tunes for the Teryx, I have the SXS custom front pods with component 6.5' Alpines, I mounted the tweets in the dash pointing towards the seats giving it a bit of soundstage, a Kenwood deck in the glove box and a Ipod adapter on a mount I made hanging from the cage bar that runs across the dash. If you are thinking about an isolator set up for your 'Rex that is where I would go. The system is 'smart' and does it for you. The nice thing about this is that you don't beat your alternator up trying to charge 3 batteries at once, and you don't even have to think about it. At that point it will allow the 3rd battery to see some current from the alternator. Then, the isolator hides it again until the 2 primaries are showing a measured and continuous 13.4 volts. When that happens I hit the momentary and bring the third into service and fire up. If I am on the beach with the tunes cranked too long I can run the two down. I am running two batterys combined as one and the third in reserve 'behind' the isolator. I've had one in our boat, (SkiSanger with about 1800 watts of stereo) for about 4 years.

I found a company called Hellroaring Technologies, inc., Manufacturer of Solid State Dual Battery Isolator / Combiners and their isolator/combiners are top of the line. You need to remember that there are two different blue Optimas, one is a deep cycle only that is not designed to provide starting amperage, the other is a combo deep cycle/starting unit. I have three Optima Blue top deep cycle marine starting batterys in my boat.
